Carlson Tool & Manufacturing is hiring an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team onsite in Cedarburg, WI! This position holds a high level of emphasis on speed with order processing and communication, while working with an established full book of business. 

We’re looking for a quality-driven team player with a manufacturing and machining background who is motivated and hands-on to manage assigned machining projects for our customers. This individual must be committed to excellent communication, continuous improvement, and the on-time completion of projects resulting in superior customer satisfaction.

Our Machining Division provides high precision contract machining services for a variety of industries including Military, Construction, Mining, Energy, Transportation, Healthcare, Packaging, Automotive and more! Our services include Deep Hole Drilling, Gundrilling, Honing, CNC Turning, and CNC Milling, along with a wide variety of sub-contracting services to meet our customers’ needs.

What you need to succeed:

• 3 - 5 years of related experience with Inside Sales and managing projects in a Manufacturing setting is required.
• Familiarity with a variety of tooling and machining technologies is strongly preferred.
• Strong computer background with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to collaborate with coworkers and customers from a wide variety of backgrounds while maintaining a positive work environment and a positive representation of the company.
• Must be accurate, organized, and able to work effectively to meet multiple project deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining all project documentation, schedules for all project phases, manufacturing routings, work instructions, time and cost estimates, project logs, etc.
• Managing and communicating technical details, schedules, progress, modifications, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones and other key metrics to customer and team members.
• Determining resource requirements and project roles of the team members based on the project(s) requirements, time frames, and budget.
• Ensuring assigned projects meet internal and customer expectations of quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy by collaborating with external providers and internal resources.
